Is 5Linx Legit-Or Is It Just Another Scam-Find Out What Others Don’t Tell

5Linx is a Multi Level Marketing system (MLM). They claim to be your one-stop shop for essential products and services, but is 5Linx legit? I want to congratulate you first of all for checking a review on them before handing over your money.

It is an honest practice to get into since there are so many scams and programs filled with upsells. Be sure to research them, if you are still uncertain after reading my review.

There are claims of scams and when I tried to check the Better Business Bureau, it said “information on this company is being updated, and no report is available at this time”.

I will definitely be checking back to see if it has been updated as I have seen some pretty nasty complaints about this company. I checked a couple of days later and this is what I found on the BBB site.

5Linx claims to be an opportunity for you to be able to make money by helping others build their legacy. They claim that they have money saving products that you use every day.

In this list are health products that are to improve your quality of life. I could really use a product that can REALLY help me with that part of my life.

Evidently, they have something for everyone. Let’s find out if they can truly help us make our financial dreams become a reality, shall we?

Getting To Know 5Linx

I watched the video from Platinum Vice Presidents (they have a lot of Platinum Vice Presidents) and in the first few seconds I am already VERY SKEPTICAL. In my years of searching online for a legit work from home opportunity you come to realize which ones to stay away from.

When I would come across the ones that show people “showing off their success”, that became my cue to leave while I still had my money in my pocket.

If they need to show you their money, fancy cars. fancy homes and exotic vacations, then the chances are, they are playing the “get rich here” card on innocent people who may not know better.

Lisa Nicole Cloud is a DOUBLE platinum senior Vice President of 5Linx and again with the video of living the extravagant lifestyle, yet before the videos are played you get the results are not typical and success is not guaranteed.

All the videos of their many platinum presidents and vice presidents are the same, with the flashy expensive homes, cars jewelry and even a display of shoes.

Wanting more out of their daily lives seem to be the common factor and the fact they had entrepreneurship in them and now they are living the dream. I had enough of this. Feel free to check it out for yourself.<— add link to presidents

True Or False

In a YouTube presentation I came across, Artist Pras from the Fugees and he states that Barak Obama was really into getting the word out about 5Linx.

Pras endorses 5Linx and says Obama does as wellMy initial response was, maybe I was wrong about this company. I don’t know this Platinum artist or his group but you wouldn’t think that someone famous in the public eye would steer you wrong, right?

When I head him mention the now former president Obama, I immediately began my search to find out if what Pras had said was true.

What I found was what seems to be a video of Obama discussing how he wants the FCC to stop the companies that are blocking new competitors from hitting the market for cable and satellite TV.

As you are aware technology is well advanced these days and it doesn’t take much to add a logo or URL to a video and publish it. It does not mean that what you are seeing is considered to be true.

Below is the video of the then President giving his speech on the cable and satellite TV market. I have not altered any part of it. What you will see is exactly what I seen.

President Obama

President Obama on free market for Cable T V and SatellitePresident Obama definitely gave the speech, but did he give it to promote the company that has plastered themselves in the video?

He never mentions ANY specific company what so ever. This of course led me to check out the company CutMyCord.Info which led me to and add on IPTV that claims they can cut your cable or satellite bill to zero simply by sharing.

President Obama simply wants to give consumers the opportunity to SHOP for better deals for their cable and satellite. He is not promoting 5Linx or Ricardo Suber which is the Senior Vice President of 5Linx.

I personally find this to be a sense of trickery in order to buy your trust into the service this product has to offer. Personally, I would not even try the product because I feel they should not have to LEAD you to believe something that didn’t actually happen. As you can see the video only received 1,222 views and that says a lot as well.

My point here is if you watch the video, you will see that it seems someone is trying to lead you into believing that the then president Obama is promoting something he is not. The views on the video were probably truth seekers like myself.

I was having trouble finding who the actual founder was when I pulled something very interesting up on Wikipedia. Notice the picture below. This helped in my opinion of them even after the president video and something you should see.

Message from Wikipedia in regards to the founder of 5Linx

Just in case you are still planning on checking into 5Linx in order to promote their products or to even use their products, I HIGHLY suggest you click on the above picture. You will thank me once you do. Enough of this. Let’s get to the money making.

How Do You Make Money With 5Linx

When first entering the About 5Linx, something caught my eye. It states they were co-founded under and still operate according to 5 key principals, Freedom, Integrity, Vision, Success and Opportunity.

The company has to be still struggling since the original founders are still on trial for fraud. I do not see Robert Suber in the list of a good deal of platinum Vice President members either. Not sure where he is. In to working with 5Linx.

$249 Membership For 5Linx

According to the FULL description, if I paid for this membership I would get 10% to 20% on all sales I made and I would also get residual income on products and services. That is an awful lot to pay and not much information on what I am paying for.

$249 membership plus platinum discount

Description of Platinum discount$39 Affiliate Enrollment 5Linx

As you can see there really isn’t much information to explain the different packages of membership, so I took it upon myself to call and ask a few questions.

The member I spoke with was very short in her answers and at first she wanted me to email to someone else. I asked why I needed to do that when I had her on the phone already and if they didn’t want people to call, then why did they have a phone number for us to call.

I did find out that the $249 is a one time fee for either package. The platinum discount network (PDN) is a recurring fee on a monthly basis.

They do have upsells. In case you were to pay the one time fee and not go with the PDN then you would have to pay extra for the enhanced reporting and the annual positioning renewal which is $99 a year just by itself.

They do give you a standard website that you have to design. The representative advised me that with every package, you are given a standard website. If I pay that type of money to be an IMR I better get more than standard.

In order to make money you have 2 choices. Promoting the products they have to offer OR refer others to join and become and IMR ( independent marketer recruiter).

If you go to their site to see what products they have, you will notice that there is no pricing on them what so ever. This to me says that they MAY be over priced. I can not say that with certainty though.

If there are no prices, that would make it much harder to sell. People nowadays take advantage of the many uses the internet offers them. Price comparison would be one of those.

I will include a link here so that you can see the range of products they offer. This is also strange to me as they aren’t just promoting cable, satellite or digital marketing. It seems as they choose a couple “high demand” products and ran with them.

Should you choose to get others to sign up and become an IMR, it seems you can earn points, bonuses as well as commission. Don’t let that fool you though. There are many requirements you must meet

The Verdict Is In

In my personal opinion, I would stay clear of 5Linx. As a customer and an IMR. Their products are vague in the pricing as well as description.

I personally would not refer anyone to join something I did not believe in. The fact that they seem to have so many presidents and vice presidents just seems really fishy. Let alone the fact that all 3 co founders are facing fraud charges.

I do understand that there deceit does not mean the business does not have honest members. The fact that in all the videos of the presidents and vice presidents are all showing examples of “their success” tell me otherwise.

When someone uses money or high priced objects to get my attention, I give the finger and walk away. It is the first sign that they don’t care about you, they just want you to buy into what they have in order to put more money in their pocket.

If they show me they are human with compassion I may take a look at what they have to offer and go from there. I have not seen any of this throughout my research.

Your Stamp Of Approval

When you are looking to be an affiliate for any type of product or service, you want it to be something you believe in. Having a trustworthy platform makes the world of difference.

If you are looking to get into online marketing, you want a legitimate opportunity. There should be proper training, tools and support that you do not pay extra for.

Paying someone to promote THEIR products is a NO-NO in affiliate marketing. You can build your on website with thousands of themes to choose from and promote (for free) any product or service within a niche.

The niche will be what you choose. It can be anything from, something you are passionate about to even a hobby. It is all up to you. When you choose products that fit your niche, you don’t pay to promote them.

Earning a commission is how most companies reward you for selling their products. You can even choose as many products as you wish, and still not be charged.

Since you have stuck with me through this entire article, I want to share something with you. Put your trust in my and I will not steer you wrong.

I know of a place that is sincere in helping others succeed when wanting to be their own boss and work from home. They literally hold your hand and walk you through training.

You will not have to pay for extra courses, tools or anything. If you ever have a question, you will get answers within minutes if not seconds, at no extra cost 24/7 365 days a year.

It is free to try ($49 a month for premium or remain free) in order for you to be able to decide if it is for you or not. This way it doesn’t cost you a cent if it isn’t your cup of tea. Not everyone knows what is involved because they were never given proper training.

If you decide you have a passion or the knowledge of something that you would like to turn into a business, then you will be happy I introduced you and I am sure you will give it your stamp of approval.

Going premium here does not mean you are paying someone to promote THEIR product. You are paying to learn how to create and run YOUR online business.

I know what it is like to NEED to work and earn an income, but not be able to do it outside the home. I am now able to help others find work they can do from home. And I love it.

  1. Wow. The length people will go to get people to buy their product. Faking a video of the former president? I’ve always heard it said that if it’s too good to be true, then it probably is. Making money from home is still work, and it requires effort. Thanks for warning people of this scam. So many people fall for scams, and someone needs to get the word out.

    • Thank you Chris.
I agree about others going through great length to sell you something. It is horrible and I feel bad at how many of us are taken advantage of on a daily basis.
I want to help get the word out when I find something that isn’t on the up and up like they seem to be.
I can’t honestly call 5Linx a scam, but I can definitely say that they shouldn’t be trusted.

  2. I think I will stay clear of them as well! So glad you put this out so others don’t get scammed. I don’t know how many times I have been scammed…too many to count for sure. Anyway, I am a single mom, and putting down that much money would be a huge risk for me. I am not much of a gambler. Any type of work at home “job” should not mean you have to fork over money.

    • Yes I agree with you about staying clear from them even though I can’t quite say they are a scam, I don’t think they are honest though.
I have been scammed myself which is why I gave learned to look out for a few things. I may not know them all, but I know a few and that has helped me tremendously when trying to find a legit work from home opportunity or job.
You should never pay to “work” for anyone nor should you pay them to promote their products.
I am glad this will at least help you and hopefully others to not fall into the trap that might cost you a lot of money with not much in return.
      Best wishes

  3. Thanks for this in-depth information about 5links.
I will be careful now before buying into the affiliate program.
I wonder why after 17 years the BBB agency has no confirmed ratings to show.
The Fugees is a great band, I liked them a lot in the days but trusting a public person just because he is famous is not the way I go.
Too many celebrities try to make money by spreading promotions they can’t really stand behind. They get paid for it, I understand that.
By the way, the video is so bad quality, I don’t understand a word.

    • Thank you Stefan.
There are just to many things that just weren’t right with 5Links. The video of the president “promoting” them, the video of the artist, which I agree with you about poor quality, so we can’t be sure that it was even who they claimed it was.
I just hope that others are learning to do the research before dishing out their money in order to have their own online business.
It is getting easier and easier to find the bad and the good, if you just do the research.

  4. There are so many people falling for scams like this, it’s amazing !
Between the misinformation, con artists, and outright scams online, some people think that every opportunity they hear about is just another scam! I heard about Wealthy Affiliate this way! After I got scammed.

It took a while to trust it enough to try it, but when I did I was blown away ! I now have a successful online bsuiness with 3 websites and it’s growing !

I know one thing that is for sure! The people who read your report and take your sugestion for WealkthyAffiliate will be back to thank you!
    Mike

    • Thank you Mike.

Like you I had been scammed and was VERY skeptical when I was looking in to Wealthy Affiliate. The community was what got my attention and then of course the training. Especially since I had no prior knowledge of building an online business.

I am hoping that my website will help others to not fall for the scams and find the legitimate opportunities instead.

      Thank you for your time.

  5. These are great points, I’m glad that you explain the need to have a product that you can actually believe in and trust. Without that, a business will always sink.

I’m curious, have you found any MLM opportunities that are actually legitimate? I’ve heard so much about them, but most of it is negative. Are there any companies out there that really work?

I’m curious because in many ways the business model sounds great. Not necessary for 5linx, but MLM in general.

    Thanks!

    • Hello and thank you for reading my post and I hope it was of some use to you.

As for MLM’s I am actually in the process of checking a couple of them out. I should have a post by next week at the latest.

I haven’t had very good luck with them which is why I am still on the hunt for a good one. Before I joined W A I had been ripped off by a few MLM’s.

Please feel free to check back for an update. If you would like, send me your email and I send you a post when I find one that is legit.

Wishing you the best in all you do

  6. Whoa! This is another product to avoid. With the owners facing legal charges, this isn’t something one should get involved with in the first place. The US government seems to be cracking down on these scam organizations lately and I think they should be more vigilant to prevent people from losing their money unnecessarily online.

    • I definitely agree with you. The government should have cracked down on scammers a long time ago. It is a shame at what some of these sites get by with.

There are so many people online these days looking for a work from home opportunity and they fall for almost anything, especially if they haven’t experienced dealing with a scam site.

Thank you for taking the time to read and for your comment. I hope this will help others to know about it before making a huge mistake.

Wishing you the best in all you do
