Is BigSpot.com Legit

BigSpot.com

Why BigSpot.com is legit and Isn’t a scam, but is a waste of your time

There are times when you see flashes of BigSpot surveys on the television. The advertisements of these surveys often claim that people can get paid after a couple of simple tasks. But, is BigSpot.com legit, just because of this?

Does this sound amazing to ANYONE wishing to earn money from home online? Absolutely, everyone will always be enticed by the potential to earn some cool cash on the internet, right?

If you are a skeptic, then this may not capture your attention at first glance. Are these the questions you find yourself asking, and is this how you landed on my website?

Is BigSpot.com a scam, is BigSpot.com legit, is BigSpot.com for real, does BigSpot.com really pay, or who are they?

Explore the roller coaster of knowing if BigSpot is either a scam, legit or a waste of your valuable time. I could not resist adding the “waist basket” video below.

Who Is BigSpot?

BigSpot remains a company that has captured the attention of many people lately on television. This doesn’t mean that it is legit or that it is worth event testing it out. Just like on the internet, not everything you see and hear is worth your time.

The truth is that not everything airing on TV remains real or legit these days. The BigSpot has always maintained a stand of calling itself a paid survey website.

Nevertheless, certain red flags on the BigSpot’s website may make people think otherwise. From a view of evaluating a real and secured website, BigtSpot may look vague to many people.

According to reliable sources and through research, the company is run by Varsityplaza, L.L.C. While it can be difficult to really pinpoint the honesty and professionalism of BigSpot, certain measures will help you confirm its legitimacy.

It is a big indicator that something may be wrong when you are finding it difficult to confirm the details of a website.
BigSpot is considered to be a “get paid” website but operates in a different and unique way from other survey platforms available.

One thing is certain, BigSpot will not offer or provide you surveys. The only thing that the company does for prospective members is to link them to other survey platforms such as Toluna and MySurvey.

In a simple phrase, BigSpot will not pay you a dime. They will earn from you by giving your information out to the survey sites.

Since the company will not be responsible for upcoming surveys, it is easy to say that members cannot be paid either. If BigSpot will not pay members and provide surveys, what is the company representing?

Without any scintilla of doubt, BigSpot is not a get paid survey platform or service. In a nutshell, the company is simply a middle man connecting people to survey platforms that can pay participants. BipSpot is currently on the BBB list, but simply not accredited.

Does BigSpot.com Really Pay?

Making some cool cash is possible when you visit real get paid survey websites. On this note, it is expedient to be informed about a real survey website prior to signing up with one.

As highlighted in the paragraphs above, BigSpot does not pay its members. The main duty and operation of BigSpot is to refer people to paying survey companies.

Navigating on the company’s official website will conform that BigSpot has no evidence of payment for existing members. With BigSpot, you will be redirected to legitimate and real survey websites that pay participants.

It will always get a referral commission for providing your personal information to a third party survey company. I reckon you could say that BigSpot.com is playing the middleman.

I am a family oriented mother and love being involved with my little ones. My husband is the best guy a girl could ask for. I love helping others which is why I created this site. I know what it is like to NEED to work and earn an income, but not be able to do it outside the home. I am now able to help others find work they can do from home. And I love it.

  1. I’m not so keen on websites like this, it seems a lot of them just take your personal information and sell your information on. I do take part in a few online survey sites that are legit – my favorite is Clixsense. I’ve earned over $900 to date through them – mostly in affiliate income but quite a bit in surveys too. Thanks for pointing out the very important fact that just because something is on TV or the internet does not make it real!

    • Thank you Lynne and I do agree. When they get your information they then give/sell it to whomever. It doesn’t necessarily mean it will be survey sites that receive your information either.

I have not come across any survey site that really do pay for the time it takes to complete the surveys, or one that supplies you with enough surveys to earn decent money for completing them.

It is a shame at all the dishonesty that is in the world today. The TV and internet products/services can be scary unless you know to do research first.

Thank you for doing your research by checking out my post on BigSpot.com

I hope it was very useful to you

  2. Thank you for the in-depth review.  I thought BigSpot was a survey platform.  To find out it’s just a middle man doesn’t sit well with me.  Why add another level in between you and the final site?  I also don’t care to give out my contact information to a site that really offers me no value.  Chances are they’re just selling my info in a list to other companies and I won’t get anything out of it.

I’ve joined a few survey sites in the past and, some will send me a survey that take an hour a day for 3 days, etc and pays me decently but much of the time I’m waiting and never get anything or the surveys pay really poorly for your time and effort.

Thanks for letting me know what’s up with BigSpot.  I really do appreciate it and won’t waste me time signing up with them.

    • Thank you Scott. That is actually what they want you to believe. That is how they make their money. If you knew they didn’t supply you with surveys or that they didn’t pay you, then they wouldn’t make any money as you wouldn’t use their service.

I have come to not like survey sites at all. They never pay for the true amount of time put into them, they never have surveys available that you qualify for and I definitely don’t think it is worth my information being spread to anyone and everyone on the internet.

I am glad this information benefited you , I think everyone needs to know what to look forward to when they join any program whether it is a survey site or affiliate marketing.

  3. I am so glad that I came across your information on BigSpot. I was thinking about joining them. Since reading that they don’t even offer the surveys or pay you for taking them, I don’t think I will be joining them. You just saved me some aggravation I am sure. Thank you for giving me the information I needed.
You said that we should not share personal details for small survey websites.
But I wonder when it is okay to share?

    • I am glad you checked out BigSpot before joining. They are misrepresenting themselves. It is important that you know the truth about them.
I have come across some horrible survey sites. But this one makes me wonder who they forward your information to. Have you joined survey sites and then get a ton of phone calls that you didn’t give permission to?
This is why sharing your information is not advised. When sharing your information you want it to be with trusted websites. Since survey sites require you answering personal questions, it gives them consent to use your information when you give them the information. This is why you get unwanted phone calls and emails.
I have not seen any survey site that is worth the very minimal pay, and the harassment from all the sales associates etc.
It is best to protect your information in this day and age.

  4. Hi Lee Ann
This is such a great review and it seems dodgy to me that is for sure
Kind of like the 3rd cog in the wheel when it’s not needed at all
Besides this how long does it take to actually make any money doing surveys? It takes a lonnnnng time – Best thing to do is click your link and go do something worthwhile that actually does create an income
Thanks for your honesty Lee Ann and all the best

    • Thank you very much Vicki. I think many of us agree that these survey sites are a waste of time and have little compensation compared to the time invested in them.
The only purpose I can think of for any company to rely on BigSpot, is due to the fact of the LARGE amount of online survey companies there are nowadays. I reckon they had just rather have someone else spend the time to recruit people to opt in for the surveys. I had definitely rather spend my time building a business for myself and helping others to see that they can do the same. Thank you for your kind words. Honesty is always the best policy.

  5. Hey Lee Ann 🙂 I never heard of BigSpot before but it doesn’t surprise me that even though they not be a scam, that they don’t pay. Most of these are just a waste of time. I know from experience that survey sites never amount to anything either.
You don’t mind poutting in the time and the effort if it’s worth it.
This certainly does not seem like it is. Thanks for the heads up!

    • I definitely agree with you Rob. I have never come across a survey site that is worth the time you put into it. Let alone the emails you get and phone calls you get afterward.
While I will agree that survey sites are necessary to help companies improve their products and help them to see what a consumer is really looking for, but I don’t agree that the survey sites should make themselves look more profitable than they truly are. BigSpot needs to be more factual than they are misleading.
Thank you for taking the time to research is BigSot.com legit.

  6. Great review. I have fallen for sites like this in the past and literally had hundreds of emails in my inbox within days. Unsubscribing takes forever, and I was still getting new ones months later!
I tried a few actual survey sites but found with the amount of time and small return it’s not really a work-at-home option – at least not for me.

    • Thank you Lara.
I agree with you 100%. When we first try the survey sites we don’t realise how extreme it will get when it comes to the emails and phone calls.
No matter how many times you click unsubscribe or tell them to take you off of their calling list, it does not happen. They will also say they are a different company and were not asked to take you off of their list. Hmm. Yeah right.
It really is not worth all the headache in order to make a couple of dollars for 8 hours of work and years of unwanted emails and solicitor phone calls.
I am with you. I want a real work at home option. I have a better option for you as well, if you are still looking for one. If you are interested please feel free to search through my site. There are jobs as well as business opportunities. Or I will send you the links to them if you wish.

  7. Thank you so much for this information I have often wondered if all the promises were true. Although I know I gave info online and regretted by all the junk emails. But, am certainly glad to hear about this group was wondering how these companies get there piece of the pie. Money hard enough to earn without wasting my time on surveys going nowhere.
    Blessings,
    Scarlett

    • Thank you Scarlett. I am glad I was able to give you the answers that you were looking for. Those who take surveys must not really NEED to make money and don’t mind getting all the emails and phone calls that never stop.
I think the thing that really got me was the fact how they lead everyone to believe that they are something that they aren’t. Any business should be what they say they are and do what they say as well.
All BigSpot does is to make money off of your information that they sell to others. In my eyes, they should make them a scam. But, since they do GET you surveys, I can’t say they aren’t legit.
You are awesome for not joining without doing your research.
