Is Clickworker Legit

Clickworkers review

Clickworker has clients that pay for clickworkers to complete specific micro task for them. Is Clickworker legit? Can you really earn GOOD money being a clickworker?

Most of my experiences with these type of work from home jobs, usually end up with the conclusion that they are not worth my time and probably not yours wither.

When we look for work from home opportunities, we are normally looking for something that pays us for our time accordingly.

We aren’t looking to make a dollar after spending 5 hours performing a task. We can probably scrape that up just looking through our couch cushions or in the seats of our car.

I not only want to find out if clickworker is legit, but I also want to know about the pay. Will the pay be worth completing task for them? Or will it be like the pay from a survey site? Let’s get to it.

What Task Will You Perform

Jobs in Clickworker

In order to determine the task you perform you have to take an assessment test. Don’t worry, I don’t think it will be that hard. This is just to determine what task you qualify for.

I am going to give you a break down of what each task/job is and what you will be doing if chosen for this task.

Creation of text-Text Writer

You need to be able to create text based on a topic or, predefined template. These descriptions can include, cities, fashion, and even software. It all depends on what topics are in demand at that time.

Data categorization

For this one you need to be able to analyze data files like document, photos or videos and then classify them according to the terms

Evaluate, analyze or categorize the content of websites, search results, etc. This basically means that for example, you will need to determine if the search results MATCH the search request. When you type in a search, did the results match? I believe it said you will also have to look to see if there was adult content on some of the web pages. UM OK. I wouldn’t want that one.

Copy editing

You will edit short texts hat w0.ere created for the Text Writer (the first job description from above. This will also depend on what topics are available at the time.

Clickworker jobs

Proofreaders will check and correct the texts, and just like before these can include descriptions of cities, products etc

Web research

You will be searching data (addresses for businesses, restaurants etc, updating data or other minor task.

Oh now the dreaded surveys. Just like all the other “get paid to take surveys” jobs, you have to meet certain criteria and complete surveys accordingly.

Mystery Photographers

This one seems a little interesting. It sounds sort of like a spy, only you don’t have to be undercover. You are going to be checking out business, restaurants etc. in your area to see if the addresses are still the same, check sale displays and where they have certain products placed. You will be given the address to go to.

When you go through the list of jobs in your are, you will reserve them, go to the location you are given, take pictures and upload them for documentation, submit and you are done.

How Much Will You Make

The description of pay is short. It seems the average is $9 an hour. The pay actually depends on your speed (how quickly you get the job done) as well as other contributing factors.

Depending on your qualifications, as well as practice and concentration, they say you can make well over $10 an hour. I am assuming the micro task, which can only take seconds to do, may not pay as much, but you can complete a number of them in an hour.

On the site itself, it states they pay monthly, but during my research I also come across payments in more detail. If you have a PayPal account you get paid every week (providing you meet the specifications listed above).

It you have set up bank transfer, you will get paid on the seventh or eighth of the next month. If those days fall on a holiday or a Sunday, the pay will go in on the next business day.

How You Will Get Paid

Can you make money with clickworkers?

In order to get paid, your account has to have at least $10 in it on the payment date. If you have less then that, it will roll over to the next payment month.

When completing your profile upon signing up, you will be asked to fill in your payment information, for your PayPal account or bank transfer. Be sure to specify which one you want them to send your money to.

Evidently a lot of clickworkers over look adding their tax information. When you add this be sure that you have entered the information correctly.

What Are Clickworkers Saying

It seems there are many complaints about not getting their pay and no jobs available. For every complaint there is a Clickworker Community Associate there to defend the company.

The associate sounds sincere in wanting to help them figure out why the clickworker is experiencing difficulty, and continuously states that they do pay on time. To see the employee reviews click here.

There was an incident that the associate states there was an issue about getting the pay out on Friday like normal, but it went out Sunday.

Not having work is blamed on the customers that request the work to be done. If they don’t post it to the site, then it creates an issue for the clickworkers.

If you have ever been on one of those get paid to take surveys site, then you know that this sounds very familiar. You either go days without receiving a survey, or when you click on one, you get a message that you don’t qualify.

The issue could be that they have more clickworkers than they do jobs available. Just a thought. I would think that if you have customers not producing work, then clickworker would have a policy to help ensure that it does not’t happen often.

My Verdict

I do believe they are legit. I just think they are like other crowdsourcing companies and have issues keeping work for the clickworkers to perform.

I know from experience when you do these types of jobs that go off of the information you fill out, then you definitely run the risk of not qualifying, or there not being a job available for you.

You can work from home on your own time, you can start ant stop when you like. I don’t believe that you can make a substantial amount of income from this, but I could be wrong.

Maybe if you were there for a while learned more about what was available, how to land more jobs and etc, then MAYBE you can earn enough to make it worth your while.

I have a better recommendation if you would like to hear about it. You would still be able to work from home, be your own boss and set your own schedule.

I am a family oriented mother and love being involved with my little ones. My husband is the best guy a girl could ask for. I love helping others which is why I created this site. I know what it is like to NEED to work and earn an income, but not be able to do it outside the home. I am now able to help others find work they can do from home. And I love it.

  1. Hi Lee Ann,
Great article about Clickworker. I have not heard of it so will check that out.
I am still in the process of finding a good paying job online, so the platform might for me.
Thank you for the nice review, and plan to check in, and see where you go next.

  2. Good article, I have never heard of Clickworker before. I have done those survey things before, most of the time I got denied. The site you do recommend, Wealthy Affiliate, are they legit?

    • Thank you very much for reading my post and for your question.
I like you, have tried many of the survey sites, and spent most of the time see the same as you. Denied. If I were given one it took way to much time to complete and no reward for the completion.
Wealthy Affiliate is definitely legit. You will not only learn how to build your own online business, but you will have all the tools to do it as well as the support you might need. I am including a link for you to check out the review if you would like. https://legitworkforparents.com/is-wealthy-affiliate-a-scam-far-from-it

  3. Hi Lee Ann,
Always on the look-out to make a little extra money and I’ve taken quite a few months to give up on surveys. I got plenty of email notifications but way too many of the not qualified. Some of the Clickworker jobs you described sound do-able but, I will take your advice that they may just be too time consuming for the pay. I have checked out Wealthy Affiliate and I also think it is a great platform for someone willing to work for themselves.

  4. Clickworkers? That’s a new one. Like a lot of people, I’m always looking for extra income. It seems like this is not that opportunity. I’ll take a look at the other job info you have on your site. Thanks.

    • Thank you and I am glad I could help.
You are right. There are so many of us searching for that great opportunity to work from home and sometimes we need to see what others have uncovered about other opportunities.
My site is about trying to stop others from going through the horror that many online opportunities give us.
I hope you are able to find something of interest to you here on my site.
If you have any questions about anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.

  5. Great article, Loved how everything was detailed and how simple it was to understand, I was looking into clickworker and wasn’t sure if I should check it out.
Thanks to your information, I think I will. Hopefully they will have enough work so that I might make decent money.

    • I am really glad you enjoyed this post and I am glad it was easy to understand.
Just be sure you are prepared for the worst if you decide to join ClickWorker.
There were complaints and I don’t think I would join. Everyone has their own preferences though.
I would love to know how it goes if you do happen to join.
Maybe I will need to take another look in to them.
Thank you for your thoughts on ClickWorker.

  6. Hi,

Clickworker sounds like a legit work. I am not sure how much can you make there, but based on what you wrote if a person is consistent he can make at least a minimum wage every week. You did a great job with this review. It is comprehensive and very informative, no need to look further. Thank you.

    • I am glad you found the information to be helpful and thank you for your time in reading my post.
I am not so sure about the money that you will make, or if they will have work available to keep you busy.
If you do give them a try, I wish you luck.
Please do come back and let us know how it went and what your thoughts are. Let us know if someone is able to earn passive income or if it is just a few dollars.

  7. Hi Lee Ann, and thanks for the useful information. I have actually been a member of Clickworker for over a year, and I believe you are exactly right. There are many more people wanting to do work than they have jobs to provide. It’s so easy to be taken in online unless you do your due diligence.

    • Thank you for stopping in to take a read.
      You are right my friend.
Doing your research for any program online is a must.
If more of us would do more of it then there wouldn’t be as many companies getting by with taking advantage of others.
There are ample legitimate opportunities online and I am trying to do my part to help others find them.

  8. Hi and thanks for your very detailed review of click workers, sadly many of these online platforms don’t pay when they should. I’m sure there are better online opportunities out there. Thanks Kenny

    • Thank you Kenny for taking the time to read my post.
I agree with you about these type of sites. They are such a waste of time.
There are definitely better opportunities online like Wealthy Affiliate. They not only have training on everything you need to know but the tools to help you build your business as well. The 24/7 support is like nothing you will ever find on other programs.
Take a look at it. I am sure you will be amazed.

  9. I was looking for a homebased job and then I came across this “clickworker” thing. They said you will be paid for completing some tasks.

I read some reviews and I came to a conclusion that it’s not worth the time you’re putting into it.

I didn’t take the assessment because I just thought that it will be a waste of time if I don’t like the pay.

This article gave me an overview and what to expect.

Wealthy Affiliate is the best option for someone who want to work at home and have a lot of time to put into it.

    • I agree with you. Most of these types of programs make it look like a great opportunity instead of letting you know how time consuming it is and that you get paid very little. If you even qualify for the task or survey.
Wealthy Affiliate doesn’t give false hope. You are told that you will have to put the work into your business in order to make it a success.
I hope you are on your way to finding your success there.
I know I am. I just hope to get others to see what they to can accomplish by joining.

  10. Thanks for giving your opinion on Clickworkers. It’s probably not worth my time, as you thought, so I think I’ll pass on this one.

I’m very interested though in the alternative you suggested. I clicked on your link and read your review of Wealthy Affiliates. That looks good to try, especially because I don’t need to give them my credit card just to try it. I hope they can teach me how to do what you’re doing.

Will they ask for more money after I join?

    • Thank you for taking the time to read what I found after joining ClickWorkers. It definitely isn’t worth the time that you put into it if there is no task available to you.

As for Wealthy Affiliate, it is definitely worth it. Especially since you do not have to pay. You can stay a free starter member as long as you like.

As a free member you will not have the access to everything that you do on your trial period (7) days. Premium membership is $49 a month.

if you decide that it is for you and you have the funds, going yearly is a better deal at $359. Please do let me know if you were to have any more questions.

If you are really interested in creating your own online business Wealthy Affiliate will definitely teach you everything you need to know. You will have the support and the tools that you will need as well.

There is no better platform for the small monthly price, or one that will give you better training.

  11. Great post about clickworker. I’ve seem many sites like these online, and like you said even though they are legit — the problem comes from not getting enough money and not enough jobs being available.

Also not to mention that they are usually VERY boring lol.

So peronally I’d rather create an online business around a topic I love —that way I can make more money and actually enjoy what I do.

    • Thank you for taking the time to read and share your opinion with me.

I have to admit that I agree with the points you made. Most of these type of sites are made mostly of surveys. If you DO qualify for one you are put to sleep by the questions they ask you, or what they ask you is personal. If you click “I prefer not to answer” you are normally told you don’t qualify for the survey, even though you have almost completed. It.

I love what I do and am glad I have the opportunity I have. i am in charge of my own online business and I work when I want to doing something I love. I don’t have to worry about getting bored either. Working from home online has given me so much freedom and I love being home with my girls.

If I were stuck having to work for this type of online site, I would be miserable.

You said you had rather do the same, and I hope that you are. If not please feel free to check this site out. It will definitely help you to create that business that you will love doing. https://legitworkforparents.co
